There's something magical about a sunflower. It turns its face toward the light, grows taller than you'd expect, and brightens everything around it. That's the spirit behind The Sunflower Man — a love of growing, a passion for the sun, and a belief that anyone can cultivate something beautiful.

Our Story

The Sunflower Man was born by a fellow neighbor in our area that saw me at a local retailer. He came up to me and said, "Aren't you the Sunflowerman? Are you the one that planted that Hugh section in your field of sunflowers?" From that day forward, my deep-rooted passion for gardening and a fascination with sunflowers was fed and I became The Sunflowerman. What started as a personal garden journey grew into something much bigger — a mission to share the joy of growing with gardeners everywhere, from first-time planters to seasoned green thumbs.

In 2023, I decided to take a section of our field and build a 12' diameter circle and planted  99 different sunflowers. In 2024 I expanded to 125 sunflowers. In 2025, 143 sunflowers consisting of 48 varieties n 3 different sections. The next phase in 2026 is about to be built. Before this time, I have been gardening for the past 25 years with vegetables and flowers throughout our land. I enjoy being outside at any time of year, and yes, that includes winter. We specialize in sunflower varieties — from the towering Titan Sunflower to the rich, velvety hues of the Velvet Queen — but our love for the garden doesn't stop there. We offer a wide selection of vegetable seeds, fruit seeds, flower seeds, and herbs, because we believe a thriving garden feeds both the body and the soul.
